"Notifier". Distributed with MovieLand/MediaPipe and possibly other software packages. According to the MovieLand EULA/TOS, the free trial version of the software will display pop-up advertising encouraging the user to provide a payment method for the "service". Many online user complaints exist for this software and its components. It is not recommended.
Adware applications, toolbars and browser extensions may serve advertisements even while you are not surfing the Internet.
This application may serve various types of advertising, not limited to pop-up ads. |
